Adobe Indesign.
Please ensure that all pictures and fonts used in your artwork are gathered in one folder, which is compressed using Winzip or any other archiver before sending it to us. Please send your artwork in ".zip" or ".rar" extensions.
As an alternative you could send us the Print Screen of the artwork or PDF from your computer. This will help us to make sure that there is nothing missing or changed while supplying the artwork.
Adobe PDF Files
Your PDF file must satisfy the standards of commercial printing, which are:
1) High resolution
2) Compression Settings - the “auto compression” should be set on “high” and for the colour and greyscale should be down sampled to 300dpi
3) Font Embedding – should be set to "embed all fonts"
Please ensure that the colour in your artwork is set to CMYK. If you send the RGB artwork, it will be converted to CMYK, which can affect the colours of the artwork.
Adobe Illustrator
Please ensure that you attach all the images and convert texts to curves. File should be in .eps format.
Adobe Photoshop
Resolution should be set to 300dpi. Please see that the format of the artwork is either .jpeg or .tiff.
Making changes to your artwork.
If you would like us to make changes to your artwork, which is in .eps or .jpeg format, then you would need to re-supply the file in either PDF, PSD or AI format, as we cannot change flattered images. (.tiff, .jpeg, .eps)
Artwork bleeds.
For cutting purposes it is vital to leave the 3mm bleed around your artwork. If the size of the finished business card is 55x85, then the image size should be 61x91mm.
There are some formats that we cannot use for printing:
- Word
- Exel
- Publisher
- Powerpoint
Although you can convert these formats into useable .pdf file.
